History was made yesterday at Labone SHS at the 34th Annual Residential Congress of the Greater Accra Regional SRC. The delegates overwhelmingly endorsed the candidature of Sandra Boateng Amponsah of Accra Wesley Girls High School to lead the GARSRC for the next academic year.
And these were her words:

THANK YOU CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATES
I write to express my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the overwhelming endorsement you gave me at the just ended 34th Annual Residential Congress of our great Council.
The endorsement through the voting system does not only afford my Vice and I the opportunity to be the student leaders at the Regional level for an academic year, but most importantly to see to the realization of the policies you voted on. More especially to give reasons why females should and can distinguish themselves at the High Office of the council.
Fellow leaders, the 'Trump Card' of this administration is your selfless and patriotic involvement in the decision making process, hence we except to see more of that.
Once again thank you all for your assistance and on behalf of the Vice President, Myself and the entire executive body of this Council we say thank you as we work for you.
