The Student Representative Council (SRC) of E.P
College of Education, Amedzofe organized a sensitization program in conjunction
with (Teacher Trainee’s Association of Ghana)Ttag Volta Sector. This program
was organized to inform and educated the teacher trainees with the aims and
benefits to Ttag and how the association is ready to support them in all their endeavors, regardless of their challenges they might face as teacher trainees.
A team of Ttag officials was present in their
numbers to educate the student trainees. They talk about what TTAG means, the values,
aims, the executive portfolios in the association and many other important
matters.
In addition to climax the event held yesterday, a symposium
session took place on a Theme:
Improving Academic Performance through Campus
Experience. This program was facilitated by Mr. Cephas Afeavonawo the immediate
past student of E.P College of
Education, Amedzofe and a former president of Writers’ and Debater’s Club of
the college. He talked extensively on the challenges and how students can
manage their time usefully to achieve and improve their academic performance as
their main objective of coming to college.
Mr. Cephas also added that some
students indulged in unhealthy relationships that jeopardized their academic
performance. He stated that due to certain negative attitudes of trainees most
of them trailed with poor academic performance in their semester exams as a mass
failure.
The PRO of the college in the person of Kekesi Enoch
moves the event to a successful end by thanking each and everyone for making the
event a success.
